Icelandic FM
Ingvar Johannesson has posted his second installment in his "Icelandic miniatures" series. In this installment, FM Johannesson, also known as
Zibbit, analyzes a
quick victory by white in the Halloween Attack.
The game is part of a series from Zibbit in which he examines "miniatures," which are short games of about 20-25 moves in which there is a decisive result and the losing side doesn't make a terribly obvious blunder. In this week's game we see a powerful demonstration of quick development and initiative in exchange for a sacrificed piece.
