Chess Endgame Simulations

Want to get better at endgames?

We have linked up the crafty chess engine to our chess board, meaning you can play versus the computer in different situations directly within your browser. You can practice multiple endgames risk free in your browser and see if you can get the checkmate or force a draw. You can test your game at simple endgames, complex ones, or even some advanced positions.

Random or Static?

Some of our positions load randomly, meaning the pieces will be in a different location everytime you refresh, so you can try it over and over again. Others are static positions, which means they will always be the same when you reload. For example, King + Queen vs King will always be a win, so that position is random. However 3 Pawns vs a Rook isn't always a draw, so that particular one is static. Random Positions will be in bold, static positions will be normal text.
